Baby, it's cold outside!!

We spent the weekend in Big Bear with Jeff, Kristine & the boys. Like always the kids had a great time together. We even got Easton to ride down the BIG hill on the tobogan!! Only once. He said, "It was scary but a little bit fun." Here's a few of our favorite pics...

Sleds...fun for the kids and the kids at heart!

My two favorite boys.

Baby on my hip and one in my belly :)

Daddy dragging Easton up the hill after his maiden voyage on the tobogan. Easton wasn't overly thrilled with the idea but we are glad he tried it! He much preferred to watch his cousins get airborne and then crash...you know him...doesn't like to get dirty! He was equally horrified when the boys started eating the snow! And he later recalled to his Aunt Linda, "There is bear pee in the snow." :)

Yes, he's wearing cowboy boots. It was a last minute trip and his snow boots from last year didn't fit.

Easton, Michael and Max admiring their handy snowman construction!! FYI: The nose is part of a bicycle handle bar grip...trash to treasure. Easton was fascinated with it...I think it even made it's way home with us.

Christmas with the cousins.

We had a pre-Christmas party when Easton's great grandparents were out to visit from Arizona. The kids were all in the goofiest mood so I got lots of cute pics but I narrowed it down to a few of my favorites...

Here's Logan and what Matt does to babies when their Mamas are not looking...Sorry Michelle, but he's your brother! :)

And here is my happy little nephew when he's not being buried in wrapping paper. He's so cute!! He's such a good baby too. He also just started to crawl and it's about the cutest/funniest thing! LOVE him!!

This is going down as one of my top favorites pics of all time! I love the enthusiasm on Easton's face and the "what the heck are you doing?" look on Logan's face. To say Easton adores his cousin would be like saying there is alot of sand at the beach. It melts my heart and makes me so excited to eventually see him love up on his baby sister!

Now... these two...
They look soooooo guilty!! If I hadn't been with them and saw this picture I definitely would have thought they were up to absolutely no good!! They are quite the pair. They are the perfect combination of spunk, mischief, hilarity and cuteness. They are also avid wrestlers (with the help of Matt) and no doubt they will rule the playground! (Logan, better get ready to take these two down!)

Can't wait til next Christmas when Baby Girl joins this adorable little bunch!!

Trying to give me a heart attack now, aren't ya!!??

We had a little scare earlier in the week and rushed into the doctor. We've never experienced anything like this before and thankfully I was able to see the doctor right away. It was only fours hours of waiting but when you're waiting to hear the news of losing a baby or just experiencing a little bump in the road every minute might as well last an eternity. It's safe to assume Matt and I stopped breathing while awaiting the news. Especially when the all too perky nurse tells me over the phone, "Oh, you're ONLY 11 weeks. That's still early." What the heck is a frazzled, freaked out mama supposed to do with that comment!!?? Was she trying to prepare me for the worst? Clearly she doesn't know me at all...I always jump to the worst possible scenario and her words were only helping send my already pounding heart into a full on marathon! You could literally see my heart pounding out of my chest...People, I don't make this stuff up just for an interesting read!! :) When we arrive Nurse Perky Pants takes my blood pressure and says, "WOW!! That's really high!" Wellllll.....DUHHH!! Does she not remember why we are here!!!!?? Finally the doctor arrives (seriously why does it take them so long to come back after they ask you to get into your birthday suit!!? If they are going to make you wait while they grab a snack at least turn the heater on!!) She does the ultra sound and quickly says, "Baby looks good, there's the heartbeat. Here, let's show Dad!" She turns the monitor towards Matt...really!! How about showing the poor lady laying in a "gown" no thicker than a single ply of toilet paper about to have a heart attack...remember my high blood pressure!? I'm no doctor but that can't be good for the baby?! Finally she turns the monitor towards me and the "I've had too much caffeine for my own good and just can't seem to keep my thoughts to myself" nurse announces, "Whoa! That's a big baby!!" Great...get the epidural ready!
Yesterday was my set appointment, so Mee-Maw and Easton came. I was hoping they'd get to see my giant baby on the ultrasound but they just let us hear the heartbeat for the first time. After Monday's madness, it was sweet music to my ears!! 11 weeks down...29 to go!

Dear Little Wagoner Baby...
I was so happy to see your little face and hear your strong heartbeat. You've grown soooo much. You no longer look like a lima bean...you look like a baby!! Your big brother was so happy to hear your heartbeat, as he says, "Go Boom, Boom, Boom!" Keep up the good work. Thank you for easing up on the morning sickness and heartburn! See you in four weeks!
Love you so much, my little sprout!

My sweet boy...

While pondering the news that he is going to be a big brother Easton has had lots of questions...
Here is a little conversation we had the other night while getting ready for bed...
Easton: "When is the doctor going to get the baby out of your tummy?"
Me: "The baby can't come out until it gets bigger and stronger, so it won't be here for a long time."
Easton: "Will it hurt you when the doctor takes the baby out?"
Me: "It will hurt a little but I'll be okay."
Easton: "Will it hurt a big much or a tiny much?" (gestering his hands reflecting the different amounts of pain.)
Me: "A tiny much."
Easton: "It's okay Mom, don't worry, I'll be right next to you!"

Sniff, Sniff, He's going to be such a great big brother!!

Disneyland!

On my birthday Matt had work and school and wouldn't be home til late, so my mom and I decided to take Easton to Disneyland. He is going through a Mickey Mouse/Toy Story phase at the moment and I thought now would be the perfect time to go. We had a blast! It was not crowded one bit. We literally walked on to every ride. Easton even rode Big Thunder Mountain!

Easton Met Woody!! Easton is PETRIFIED of these sorts of people in costumes (can you really blame him? I am 5' 8" and look how much taller Woody is than me! HUGE!). He generally admires them from a safe distance away. Any closer and he absolutely loses it! BUT...being that he is quite obessesed with all things Toy Story I knew this would be worth the potential meltdown.
As you can see he did great...
he later even talked to Woody and gave him a hi-five!
Calling Daddy to tell him he took a picture with Woody...
"Daddy! He was this BIG!!"
Shooting Aliens with Mee-Maw...Bonding at it's best!!
He later said this was his favorite ride.
Disneyland has the CUTEST pumpkins!
Posing with Jack Pumpkinhead.
Stopping to give Mama some birthday love!
Stopping to call Katelyn...This child will speak to no one on the phone...except for his beloved Katelyn! It's hilarious!
Spinning on the Tea-Cups...Also a favorite!
"Enjoying" the Roger Rabbit Ride...This picture cracks me up!
Flying on Dumbo with Mee-Maw...He also like this one because it wasn't "dark and scary" like the Haunted Mansion.
Thanks for a fun day Mee-Maw!!
