I assumed when I had Finley she would be a Daddy's girl. I mean, Easton is clearly a Mama's boy (not that he's not best buds with his Daddy) so I figured Finley would be Matt's lil' lady.....Enter Miss Finley Claire....
For the first 2 months of her life she wanted ONLY me. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. Matt got to hold her maybe a total of an hour over the first couple months. Actually, she didn't let anyone hold her for long. We started lovingly calling her my stalker. That's why this picture (taken when she was 6 weeks) is so special and rare. She is finally starting to warm up to the idea that maybe, just maybe her Daddy can soothe her too. She lights up when she sees him and giggles when she thinks he's being silly.
Ummm, not to nit-pick here or anything buuuuut, Finley has let her Auntie Valerie hold her with no complaints since day one...I'm just saying. I got the bounce/lunge/rock down :) Love her!
