This weekend we went with the Wood family to their cabin in Big Bear. It was Easton's 1st trip to the snow...or the "no" as he calls it. It was a perfect weekend...cold enough that there was plenty of snow to play in but not so cold that we were frozen solid. I wasn't sure that he would like the snow considering he despises anything that makes his hands dirty, sticky, etc. But lo & behold he loved it...that is as long as it didn't make any actual contact with his bare skin! He (of course) got a kick out of throwing the snow (mostly at me...thanks to his Daddy). He had a blast playing with his buddy Ivy. They are at such a funny age & it's so nice that they play well together (minus the occasional whack to the head!) Their daddies have been friends for decades (dang, they're getting old!) so it's only fitting that the boys will be lifelong buds...(and then we can embarass them with pictures of them kissing as babies!)

So fun! We are going to the snow this weekend with Lin and Scott and Nate's parents. Brennen is the same way about messy hands, so I hope he likes the snow!
